Another batch of parts...

29-01-2026

At the engine shop progress are made and just take a look at those rockerarms and the pushrods.. What a seight.

When it´s ready for the testbench, I can´t say, but my best guess are with in a months, and I´m really looking forward to hear those 6 cylinders and 3 double Webers sing again.

For some time I have had a lot of parts laying on a shelfe for the Flaminia, most of them I have restored from time to time, because I had to wait for the parts needed. But eventually I finished them all except for the 4 sets of brakepistons, I still need to choose if I want to go with the original Dunlop or should I go with some of those aftermarket also used on the Jaguar E-Type?

But, Herritage 57 asked me for those different parts including the world traveler carpet that safely arrived to me some time ago.

Packing it all on a pallet and wrap it and DB Schenker (Now DSV) could pick it up and ship it safely to the workshop, where it has arrived in one piece a couple a day ago, as I write this blog.

There are a small delay on the bodywork as the owner Mr. Delogne had a small surgery made and have to take it easy for the next couple of weeks, as he won´t let the workshop do anything without his pressent, they turned the energy on all those bits and pieces that also need some love..

Some of the parts has allready been painted and all they need are some last details before they are ready.

Other parts are waiting to be chromed, plated etc.

Please notice, the orignal copper plating on the bolts, this was a typical Lancia detail, and I will share a secret with you, it makes it so easy to unbolt them after more than 6 decades, still like they where put together yesterday.
