First impresions...

It´s allways a bit nerve-wrecking to buy a car online and unseen, so when it arrived in my garage, the first thing, was to get it up in the air, so I could have a decent look underneath the car.

And I was suprissed of what I saw, like the rest of the car, the undercarriage, the mechanics etc. where all intact, rusty, but intact, even the small exhaust hangers where stil in place, and there where safety wire on the chassisbolts even the yellow paint markings on the rear driveshaft and steeringbox are pressent still.

The brakediscs are rusty, but I actually think, that all they need are a sandblast and a diamond cut, and then they are good as new?

I took off one of the grease cups, and the grease inside, where as fresh as it was put in yesterday, I´m really have a good feeling about this car so far.

The trees don´t grow in to the skyes, of corse there are some rust-through holes in the outer sills, and there are some corrosion on the lower part of the alu body panels, coarsed by a mouse-nest behind the B-pillar, and mr or miss mouse has toiletted so the acid from there have done some minor damage to the aluminum.

If we find more as we dig in? I believe so, but I think (and hope) it will be in very small areas.
