Engine and then some...
Things in Lancia land are going slowly, specially the work on the body, because of some serious health problems the owner of Herritage 57 had to set the work on hold as he needs to be there and supervise the guys in the workshop, so hopefully they will be back on track by the end of March and give it full speed ahead.
Mean while in engine land there are some progress, the latest bulletin from the workshop in Turin are they expect to have it ready for start up and dyno mid March, I cannot tell you how much I look forward to see and hear that engine running.. Just think, it has sat still for more than 4 decades and are now brought back to life.. If you whant to talk sustainability this is it...!

Once again my friend Florian Vietze came to rescue, with a complete new set of Carello headlights, chrome rings, hubcaps and brakepistons from Dunlop for all 4 corners... I cannot express my gratitude enough to him... he has saved me so much time due to his expertice in these cars..
One of my main concerns was what side mirror to chose, most Italian cars from that area was delivered without any, so often it was the dealer who decided what whent on if any?
Lancia did come up with a side mirror of their own design, but Florian cannot find any prove that it went on the GTL model, it looks very avantgarde, but not for my taste,

So I´ve decided to use the one that sat on the right wing, restore it, and move it to the lh door instead.
