Even the small things matters...
The holliday season at the workshop are near, but the guys are cracking on until then.
The last week, have bee full of questions and decisions had to be made, but all in all I feel that most of the things has been discused and solutions has been found and we are all on the same page at least, that´s what I think..?
One of the big questions was the colorcode of the exterior of the car, and if you have read one of my earlier blogs, you would know that this car will not be painted in the color that it left the factory in 1964.
The workshop asked me to source the Max Meyer colorcode and it was not that easy, but you can´t beat Google and the dedicated forums and clubs of the car from that area and with a little bit of patience I found it... I think?
The color for the car will be an Maserati color used in 1960-1964, and knowing your Carozzeria Touring history, you will know that they made the 3500 GT along side with the Flaminia GT/GTL and the Alfa Romeo 2600, So I have no doubts about it, and even Ferrari "borrowed" the color for their 250 GT for a customer.

So, let me pressent the 16.223 Verde Tevere Metallizzato
The Flamina got a pretty complex heating system, there are actually 3 heating cores, allowing the driver, passenger and both of them, to adjust indenpendent, that was a pretty "cool" thing back then.

It also means that there are a bit more to work to it, but again the workshop just jumped into it.
