Where do I go from here?

2024-08-29

I bought this car, very well aware of the amount of work it will take, to bring it back to former glory, I allso knew that it will take two maybe three years before it will be able to drive again.

That in mind and the fact that I barely has finished my other project with the Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce - Stelvio Passo Verde, I need to come up with a plan, and more important, who can manage the whole project from bodywork to interiore to mechanical?

The big challenge here, are the originality of the car, it has never been messed with, it has simply just been put in a garage for a reasson that only the latest owner know to, and it has stayed there for more than 40 years.

I want as much as the original parts to be restored and put back on, I want those yellow factory markings registred and put back on, I want the safety wire on the lock bolts put back on and I want the bolts to be copper plated as they where once when the car was assemblied at the Touring factory in 1964

One thing I´m sure of, are that the original color will not be used again, instead of that dull grey´ish color, I´m going with a light green metallic also used on Aston Martin´s and the Flaminia Zagato, I will keep the black seats, polstred in Conolly leather and the carpets will also be changed from dark grey to light brown a very dark green color from Wilton.
