Major set-back...!

Summer has turned into fall and if I recall my last meeting with the workshop the Lancia should be about ready around November...

But... Oh there are a big but! The workshop has been very spare with the updates since August and the last set of pictures I received was around the 20th of September, so around 4 weeks ago.

Asking the workshop about progress was replied with a "Portuguese calmness"! When I got the same message thr third time, I got that feeling no one involved in any project should get...

Short story, the workshop are in financial trouble, they have simply not earned any profit on their projects and whats even worse, they have kept it to themself, instead of reachin out to their clients explaining the situation, they let the situation come out of hand..

Writing this post, I allready got the answer and with that I also got the numbers from the workshop, I´m not happy about those numbers, not at all, but I´m also realistic, so from the very begining I sat an higher number than the quote I got last year, as I found that very cheap, now I know why.

Also there are a part of me that can´t set a side the fact that I´m kept as a sort of hostage her, because I had to decide between plaig or colera!

Most important it seems to, that we have a plan (untill the next surprise shows up) and if everything sticks, the plan looks like this.

Before the Hollidays the engine, gearbox, exhaust, electrical and fuel system will be installed. Then we move into 2027, where the brakelines/system, heating and ventilation, trim and molding will be installed, and then the glass, headliner, carpets and interior will be installed..

This is the dream scenario..

I will visit the workshop by the end of November to see the progress live and also to keep them up to our aggreement.
