Prep... and paint..
Prepping the car for paint are a very time consuming process that involves a whole lot of stages before the first coat of the real paint takes place.
After the last details on the bodywork itself was done, the entire car was flattend down to a minimum of primer left.

All this so any imperfections are visible so they can be delt with as early as possible.
When the bodyshop are happy with that result, a coat of anti-corrosive edge primer are applied to the entire body, this has to dry up for more than 48 hours and from then on the car will be handed over to the paintshop who will do all the layers from here until finished, which will take about one month before it´s ready.

Meanwhile, there are still a lot of small details that needs attention, for example the steeringwheel, where the layers of wood has been re-glued and sanded before applied with 10 coats of clear varnish.
