When life pressents you to lemons... Make the best lemonade of them...
I have learned this thanks to a very... very.... very steap learning curve!
The latest update from the workshops in Portugal where the car is and from Turin where the engine is are allmost identical to each other, despite the fact they have absolutly nothing to do with each other.
The motorshop in Turin was waiting the the big bearings to arrive from USA, when they received them, it turned out to be the wrong ones?!? The small set back was only minor as they managed to have a right set from another supplier one week later.
What else they are cooking down there, are a mysteri, they are not very informative in such matters.
But no news are supposed to be good news?
In Portugal the set backs here are in quite another league.
The shop that was going to strip and epoxyprime the body and chassis, threw the towel in the ring and simply just gave up... Workload and shortence of employies was the cocktail that left them under the table.
So Herritage 57 aka Mr. Delogne had to get the car and transported it to another shop who will see to get the job done.
The factory applied stone chip paint are a real time-consumer to rinse off, and it can only be done by pure manpower, heating guns and small spartles, but it will get there and it will soon get primed.

Another and more concerning matter are the shipment of the Wilton carpet, which has gone completly south.
The UPS tries to deliver to the interiorshop, UPS will deliver and claim the tax/duties at the same time, the shop has closed for lunch when UPS shows up, the next day the same shit and the next day the same once again.
UPS then send the message, that after several misattempts. the package will be returned to sender, the shop has tried to call UPS and send them several e-mails, according to the shop, with out any luck.
When they finally get hold on their balls and drives out to collect the package at UPS, the package allready recieved a return label, making it absolutly impossible to have the package handed over..
So, now it´s on its way back to the sender in USA, who will ship the shit to me in Denmark, making me pay a second shipping cost, and when I have paid the duties and taxes I can then pay a second shipper to send the shit to Portugal...
How about that...
When life gets you lemon, you just pull a freaking flamethrower...
