What did I buy?

Buying a car on the internet, with not more than a couple of amateur pictures, and a mans word it was a pretty intense waiting time.
The seller was very informative and was sending all the pictures I asked for, so I had i pretty good idea what to expect.
The most important part, was that the car where complete, not messed with in any sort of way, knowing these cars, there are not many spareparts hanging around, but as you get into the model, there is a hidden world of knowledge and manufactures, so it´s pretty easy..
As the car has been resting in a garage for more than 4 decades, time has taken it´s toll on it, but if you can manage to see through the dirt, dust, mousenests, mold, moisture and smell, there is a hidden gem behind all that.
Knowing that only 162 examples of the Lungo with the 2.8 liter 3 carburetors where build, how many that are left, nobody knows, but these cars was worth nothing for many years, but has risen in value in the last 5-10 years, and they will rise further for every year..
This car was sold in 1985 for around €3.350, now a days these cars sells for around € 90.000+ and rising, depending on the state of the car.
One thing is for sure, you will have a real handbuild car by Touring, and you will have a Superleggera, all aluminum bodyshell on a tube chassis.
