Waiting for the painter...

The timeconsuming work of getting the bodywork correct are one thing, when that´s done the even more timeconsuming work of getting that surface ready for the paintshop.

Most paintshops that I know of, whant to do the whole process of preping the surface themself, but at Herritage57 they whant to make sure that as less as possible of fillar are applied to preserve all the sharp lines,  first when they are happy with that work, they release it to the paintshop, not before.

Mention the sharp lines, take a close look at the longitual line of the upper fender, that defines the cars proportions, that line has to be straight as an arrow!

Because of this painstaiking work, the whole process takes a bit longer and it cannot be speeded up in any way,

Now the "stone-chip" paint has to be applied to the underside of the front and rear bonnet, just as it where from the factory.
