Things suddently accelerated and as the car was picked up at my garage by the start of the week, it was divered at the workshop Thursday afternoon same week, so a 3 day journey from Denmark to Portugal.. That´s not bad.
Spended some hours sunday morning packing all the parts in the car getting it ready for the upcoming transport.
I finally found a transport company who are up for the task bringing the car to Portugal.
Allmost one month ago, the engine where send of to a workshop just outside Turin in Italy, where skilled experts in Lancia engines will restore and rebuild it.
Herritage 57 are the name on the workshop who is going to make this very special car back on the road again.
The engine that was send to Turin around a month ago are at still stand, the reason why is the upcoming Mille Miglia 2025 where some latecomers has been i a hurry to get their cars ready for this great event, so my 2.8 must wait for this rush are over, but then they will start to restore it.
