First step...

2024-09-04

The waiting time are slowly starting to itch, but I decided to spend that time a bit more progressiv and trying to restore those parts that seems easy to work on, and some of them are not, but they will be send out of town and into the skilled hands of those who knows..

It´s allways a bit nerve-wrecking to buy a car online and unseen, so when it arrived in my garage, the first thing, was to get it up in the air, so I could have a decent look underneath the car.

I bought this car, very well aware of the amount of work it will take, to bring it back to former glory, I allso knew that it will take two maybe three years before it will be able to drive again.

I have attended my fair share of classic car fairs around Europe, and the last 2 years I have noticed examples of the Flaminia by Touring on the sales stands, and I just thought of it as a really beatyfull Gentlemans GT, but when you´r not in the market for such car, it just passes you..

Buying a car on the internet, with not more than a couple of amateur pictures, and a mans word it was a pretty intense waiting time.

Wh0...?

Who...? Am I trusting this project? I thought I had made my mind up and I also had a meeting with the workshop who just recently finished the rebuild of my Bertone 1750 GT Veloce.
